ORTHOPEDIC FOUNDATION FOR ANIMALS

All stock used in our program will have testing scored through the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals to help promote the health and welfare of the canines through a reduction in the incidence of genetic diseases while focusing on orthopedic dysplasia. Testing will include but is not limited to :

PENNHIP

The AIS PennHIP method has strong scientific foundation as the most effective hip screening tool available for dogs. Testing is accurate in puppies as young as 16 weeks of age. It gives as estimate of the risk for painful osteoarthritis of canine hip dysplasia later in life. PennHIP uses a unique method, an index, to measure hip joint laxity.
